On calls are usually 8am to 8:30pm or 8pm to 8:30am. As a foundation doctor, you will have to carry the bleep and you might be covering multiple wards. It begins with prepping notes, then going on ward rounds and then going jobs. It can get strenuous at times with multiple bleeps and calls from different wards; however many of them might be about prescribing or discharge letters. The regs are very helpful and they will usually go and see patients and also do some of the ward jobs. Sometimes if there aren't many jobs on the ward or if you have completed all your jobs, then the regs also let you join them in theatres. That is very useful to gain experience and also get some Horus related things to sign off.
